ALL PRODUCTS ARE BUILT TO ORDER AND A LEAD TIME OF 4-6 WEEKS IS APPLICABLE

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. METHODS OF PAYMENT

• EFT: Please note that it may take up to 3-5 business working days until the payment reflects in our bank account. Delivery or Collections will only take place once the money has cleared into our account.
• Cheques: We do not accept cheques
• Cash: Not accepted
Please note Out Of the Box Furniture will not change bank details without first consulting clients.

2. CUSTOMER ORDERS & DEPOSITS

• A 70% deposit is required at time of placing all orders. Balance is due upon completion before delivery
or collection
• All orders remain the property of Out of the box furniture until payment has been
received in full
Deposit to be paid in 48 hours to guarantee price.
Once deposit paid only then will your order go on production list for due date.

3. COLOURS, FINISHES & SIZE

• The display pieces in our showrooms are representative of the finished product. Whilst every effort
will be made to match all colours and finishes, goods are supplied on the understanding that there may
be slight shade and grain variations, particularly with natural products such as wood
• Size and product descriptions are given in good faith from our suppliers' information

4. DELIVERY

• Out of the box furniture is not responsible for any deliveries, however we can supply you with Delivery companies details who can assist you. However, these are 3rd parties and we do not take any responsibility for delays and damages that could occur with delivery companies.
• Upon completion of your order, you will be notified and an agreed delivery slot will be booked.
Delivery times are approximate as they can be effected by traffic, difficult areas to access and
Breakdowns.
It is the client’s responsibility to inform Out of the box on the delivery company they will be using and the time and date the collection will take place.

5. COLLECTION

• The person collecting must present the original Out of the box furniture invoice at
time of collection
• Please notify the warehouse or showroom prior to collection.
Any items not collected within 5 business days R 100 per day will be charged for storage. If an Item is not collected within 3 weeks from date of completion the Factory will be allowed to resell the product to cover costs incurred and 30% of deposit will be paid back to customer on sale of unit. We are not responsible for the delivery of the products door to door delivery is set up by delivery companies and not placement of unit in ones house.
No liability will be taken for any damages caused after 5 business days and client will still be liable for storage charges.

6. GUARANTEE – 6 MONTHS ONLY from date of completion.

• The purchase receipt and T’s&C”s must be retained and signed on delivery or collection and sent will a copy emailed or hand delivered to Out of the box this is required for any guarantee policy to take effect.
• The guarantee is not transferable
• Out of the box furniture cannot be held liable for any damages to product that were
assembled incorrectly by the customer
• The guarantee only covers a flaw in workmanship or material and does not cover defect product due
to customer abuse or breakage on your part or any alterations made by a customer.
• Any showroom display models or items bought at a warehouse sale / factory shop are sold as
“voetstoots” and are therefore not covered by any guarantee
• Imported items: Due to the nature of the product, we don’t offer any guarantee but will
try our best to assist in fixing or replacing the goods - The Call out fee will be a minimum of R450.00
If the quote and terms and conditions are not signed and dated the company will not be liable to provide you with a 6 Months Gaurentee.

7. GENERAL CARE

• No responsibility will be accepted for damage caused by cleaning if the care and maintenance
instructions have not been followed if information is required on how to care for one product you can visit our website or email a part of Out of the box furniture for instruction. We do not take any responsibility for care items and cleaning items that are purchased;

8. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Refunds of up to 50% will be given for any reason within the
terms and conditions of the Consumer Protection Act. If you cancel your order once it has been
delivered, you may not use the goods and all original packaging must be retained. It will be your responsibility to insure that the item is delivered back to the factory in working hours of 8am – 5pm Monday – Friday within 5 days.
Upon Out of the Box Factory receiving the goods your 50% payment will be released to you within 7 – 14 working days if the product is still in original condition.
• Made to order products: This has been produced specifically for you in a specific design, therefore no
refunds or exchanges can be made. If there is an error on our part regarding the product specification or
the product is found to be faulty, Out of the Box furniture will at their discretion
rectify the error / fault.
• We reserve the right not to accept an order if:
• We do not have the stock to fulfil the order
• If an item was incorrectly priced or described on the web site or in the store
